Guest progress and merging it into an account

Updated

When you log in on a device where you played as a guest, that guest's progress moves into your account by itself. There is nothing to press.

What moves?

Finished rounds with their XP, streak days (the last 30 at most), what you have already seen, your rating and Road Book chapters.

What does not?

A round you only started moves but closes as abandoned and earns nothing, because you have already seen its questions. If a round was played on both sides, the account's copy stays and the guest's is dropped.

I played on myhangar.ai. Does that count?

Yes. Links from the site into the app carry that device's guest, for example Save my progress. Rounds played on the site through our server move as above. Days the site only kept in your browser can be claimed once per account: the unbroken run reaching today or yesterday, up to 30 days and 200 XP. Because a browser reported them, they earn no rating, no league XP and do not count towards the two biggest badges.

Can I merge more than one guest?

Up to five a day per account, so a phone and a laptop are fine. Once merged, that guest token is dead: a second account gets nothing from it.

I logged in on another device and my progress is not there

It moves from the device that holds the guest. Log in on the device you played on, while the token is still there. Clearing browser data first loses the token, and we cannot find the progress without it.

How do I delete a guest instead?

Open Progress as that guest and press Delete my guest data. That removes what we hold for the device, and your next round starts a new guest. On the site, the same button is in the privacy policy. A guest nobody claims is erased after 90 days.
