Divisions and duel points
Updated
Duels have their own ladder. Your division shows at the top of the Duels page. It is separate from XP and rating: a win adds nothing to either.
The points
| Result | Points |
|---|---|
| Win | +20 |
| Draw | +5 |
| Loss | −10 |
You never fall below your division's start.
| Division | Starts at |
|---|---|
| Bronze | 0 |
| Silver | 200 |
| Gold | 500 |
| Platinum | 1,000 |
A new season starts you one division lower. Divisions are for accounts only.
Repeat rivals
The first, second and third counted duels of a pair in a Madrid week pay full, half and a quarter. Later ones pay nothing. No points at all unless both of you played for real, with answers to at least half the items, and neither round was flagged.
Traded wins
If a pair's last six or more duels in 30 days show wins going back and forth, or one player beating someone who barely answers, points stop for that pair and a person reviews it. You see "This pair's results are being looked at, so they aren't counting for now." Clearing it starts them again. There are no automatic bans.
