Unsubscribe from the newsletter

Leaving takes one click, and no reason.

Unsubscribe

  1. At the foot of any issue, press Unsubscribe.
  2. On the page that opens, press Unsubscribe. You see "You're unsubscribed".

Your mail app's own unsubscribe button works too, with one click. With an account, you can also go to Account, then Newsletter, and press Unsubscribe.

What it stops

The newsletter. Duel notices have their own unsubscribe link in the email. Account and security email still goes out: confirmations, resets, and billing emails if you have a plan.

Coming back

Subscribe again and confirm the new email. Your own unsubscribe can be undone that way. A bounce or a spam complaint cannot be undone by asking.

Getting off every list

To remove your data too, use Delete my newsletter data in preferences. We then keep only your address on a suppression list.
