Why an answer seems wrong

Updated

Every question shows its sources after you answer. If you still disagree, tell us: some will be real mistakes, and an audit of our own catalogue found errors before we set the current bar.

Where do I see why?

After you answer, the panel shows the explanation and links to its sources, and on a comparison the two figures. Each bank question was confirmed in at least two independent sources.

Why did I see no answer at all?

If the clock ran out on a live daily, the answer stays hidden until the day is over. That is on purpose: see My Hangar Daily. Test Mule and Starting Grid hide theirs until the next day too.

My figure is different. Why?

The usual reasons: a different market or model year, a variant rather than the base car, kerb weight rather than dry weight (we treat them as different stats), or a maker's claim rather than a test figure. A comparison only uses figures checked by a person, and it refuses ties and small gaps.

My friend got different options

They got the same question with the options in their own order, so "B" means nothing between you.

Did my score change after a correction?

No. Rounds are frozen when drawn, so a correction does not change a round in play or already played. There is no way yet to cancel a round.

How do I tell you?

Report it from the round. To explain in words, write to us. The legal notice invites exactly this: "if you spot a wrong answer".
