XP and levels
Updated
XP is the running total of what you have played. It builds your level and fills the weekly boards. It is the same on every plan, and nothing here can be bought.
How you earn it
| For | XP |
|---|---|
| Finishing a daily, in any game | 30, plus 5 per right answer, counting up to 10 |
| Your first daily of the day | 25 |
| A perfect daily | 25 |
| A practice, duel, league or custom round | 2 per right answer on a question new to you, for 5 rounds a day |
| A Road Book chapter | 20, once per chapter |
| A streak of 7, 30, 100 or 365 days | 50, 100, 200 or 500 |
A round only counts with real answers to at least half its items, or five in Flying Lap. Some games have their own bar: a Test Mule found or all six guesses used, half a Chassis Plate set matched, five Starting Grid squares right or all nine picks with one right.
The 400 XP cap
Up to 400 XP a day counts towards leaderboards and leagues, on every plan. Your total keeps growing past that. Streak milestones never count towards the boards.
Levels
The total XP for a level L is 50 × L × (L − 1), so level 2 takes 100 XP, level 3 takes 300, level 4 takes 600 and level 5 takes 1,000. Progress shows how far you are.
