Summit Run
Updated
Climb the pass, 250 metres a hairpin, twenty-five seconds each, harder as you go. The top is 3,500 m.
The rules
A wrong answer or a timeout ends the run and drops you to your last refuge: hairpin 4 (1,000 m) or hairpin 9 (2,250 m). Below hairpin 4 you fall to nothing.
Press Stop here, keep at any time, and tap again to confirm. You keep the metres reached. Your score is your altitude, set rather than added.
The three aids
Once each per climb:
- Co-driver's note strikes one wrong option, on a hairpin with more than two.
- Spare wheel swaps the question for one of the same difficulty.
- Recon lap adds 15 seconds.
An answer given under an aid does not move your rating.
What counts
For XP and your streak you need three hairpins answered.
Extended: North Face
16 hairpins, harder from the start, with one refuge, at hairpin 9. From Driver upwards.
