Browsers and devices

My Hangar runs in a recent web browser on a phone or a computer. There is nothing to install, and no app in the app stores.

Which browsers work?

Recent versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. We have no official list. Very old versions, from before about 2021, are not supported.

What does it need?

JavaScript on. Local storage, to remember a guest or your language. And for a signed-in account, our one cookie, mh_refresh.

What does private browsing change?

Your guest and your language last only until the tab closes, and a Club Night cannot rejoin after a reload. An account still works while the window is open.

It looks wrong, or a button does nothing

Reload the page. If it continues, update the browser, turn off extensions that block scripts for the site, and try another browser. If it is the same in all of them, tell us which device and what you see.

Can I keep it dark or light?

Dark is the only theme.

Is it readable with a screen reader?

We test for keyboard and screen-reader use. One known gap: in the mobile menu in Spanish, some hidden labels are read in English.
